Since this is going to be a short weekend trip to England, the best thing to do is to travel light! It's definitely not easy traveling light, but I now have it down to a science. I go completely carry on for weekends like this, and planning outfits for each day/night ahead of time really saves me a lot of room.

One of the bags that I carry on the plane is a Lululemon Extra Mile Duffle. This is the best carry on bag for holding my makeup case, beats, sunglasses, passport, etc. You can fit so much into this bag since it's really supposed to be used for the gym! There are so many compartments which I have found is perfect for my travels. And of course it doubles as a my gym bag on regular days at home. The pocketbook I'm bringing with me is the Alexander McQueen Padlock Small Zip Satchel. This size bag is great for holding a lot of stuff on those busy days when you're going to be out of the house for a while.

Planning my outfits ahead of time, like I said before, is not easy but I make it work. Yes ladies, it is possible to travel light and still look super chic! I always have a planned schedule when I'm there so I know exactly what I need to wear for certain events. Since the weather is so unpredictable, I have to make sure to bring a few extra options.

A pair of blue jeans, black jeans and leggings are the only three bottoms you'll ever need for a short trip like this. They can all be interchangeable from day to night with the right accessories. I like to bring some different types of tops to choose from with being mindful of not over packing. For this trip I am going to go with about 5 warmer layers for the day, either some sweaters or lighter long sleeves and a few fancier tops for nights out. My go to boots for walking around are the Vince Camuto Joanie combat boots (shown above) and in my opinion you can never go wrong wearing a combat boot. I love these with the chain wrapped around the bottom, they add a little edge to my outfit! I will also be bringing Dr. Martins with me, another great boot for walking around all day!

My plane outfit is always casual and comfy. A free city sweatshirt from Scoop is always my go to, along with my Lululemon leggings. I'm adding a fur vest from Forever 21 to keep me extra warm if I need it.

I will post pictures from my trip when I get back! I hope you got some good tips for how to travel light while still packing with style! Have a great weekend xxx
